Dear Blomp,
I have just discovered that some files of mine that have been uploaded, which are large (>1 GB), are corrupt. I tried to play through BlompGo, Dashboard, but it did not play. I tried to download it and play it with the installed codec on my PC, but the video wouldn't play. One of the example files is "GX010131.mp4" that you might check. Please kindly solve this issue.
Thank you and warm regards

Re: How to fix a corrupt file
Hi c1122,
Thank you for your patience while we completed our investigation. We’ve confirmed that the files which don’t play after downloading were broken during the upload process. To resolve this, you’ll need to re-upload the specific files that aren’t playing. We have tested this feature using multiple types of files, and they all seem to be working perfectly. With a quick re-upload, you’ll be good to go!
We’re here to support you if you run into any issues while re-uploading. Please let us know how it goes.
Kind regards,

Re: How to fix a corrupt file
Dear Blomp,
Unfortunately, I deleted the files from my PC after I finished uploading them, as I was certain that they had been uploaded correctly. And related to your sentence, "you’ll need to re-upload the specific files that aren’t playing" What if there are 10.000 files? Should the user check each file individually to ensure it is uploaded properly?

Re: How to fix a corrupt file
Hi c1122,
Thank you for following up and for raising such an important concern.
To clarify: in rare cases, large files may appear uploaded but get corrupted during the process if the transfer is interrupted. This has been addressed and user feedback like yours made it possible, uploads should now work fine.
Regarding your point about checking thousands of files: you are absolutely right, and no user should have to verify each file manually. Our team is currently reviewing ways to automatically validate uploads and ensure that corrupted files are flagged right away. This will make it easier for users to trust that their content has uploaded correctly without needing to double-check everything.
For now, we recommend keeping a local copy of files until you confirm a successful upload. We know this isn’t ideal, however given that Blomp is currently in the beta stage, we ask you to keep the files.
You are an important part of the Blomp family, and we’ll continue to update you as improvements are made.
Warm regards,
Blomp Support
