s3 support

Hi,

I am currently evaluating the free 40GB plan, before moving forward with a much bigger capacity.
I was able to get it to work pretty good with rclone/swift.
I was wondering if there is any chance I can get a s3-compatible tool like s3fs or goofys to interact directly with my blomp storage space.
I understand it's probably not officially supported (just like rclone) but I'd like to know if, "in theory", it's supposed to work before I spend too much time tinkering with it.

Many thanks!

Hi there,

Thank you so much for reaching out and for exploring Blomp with rclone/swift! We really appreciate your interest in using tools like s3fs or goofys with your Blomp storage. While S3 compatibility isn’t officially documented right now, our team is currently looking into this to see how it could work in practice.

We’ll be sure to share updates as soon as we have more clarity.

Thanks again for being here with us!

Hi tchatard,

Thanks again for your patience. At the moment, it would only be possible if Blomp provided an S3 API-compatible endpoint, but Blomp doesn’t currently support this. Because of that, tools like s3fs or goofys can’t be used to interact directly with Blomp storage. We’ll make sure to let you know if this becomes available in the future.

We’re always here if you have more questions!

Warm regards,
